WHISPER OF LOVE

life is a great mystery in every moment
Than death comes and we can not comprehend
Fate is wordless and destiny is not written
Love is no guarantee and the future we will not know
And shadows fall upon the strongest of hearts
My face is pressed in the hands of loneliness
I weep and my answer is the echo of my cry
And I feel nothing but the wetness of my tears
But love comes and wipes these tears away
For love is everything and the wisdom we need
From the lips of the dead comes no word
But if I listen in the distance shines a star
That whispers of love unlocking deep in my heart
Nothing but the fondest most precious memories
My father your lifestyle was simple and humble
But your spirit was big and you're the greastest of all
You found satisfaction in the simplest of things
I've seen strength in you like a rock of rocks
I feel the sincere love that poured from your heart
I will always be grateful for the gift you gave me
Life, the appreciation for it and the love we shared
Our favorite fishing spot we set out to find
The walks in the forest and the silence of its sanctuary
Broken only by the whisper of the pine needles
Those are the special moments I will tresure
Father your love will always be my life jacket
You have been set free from a convalescent
Prison stripped of your aging decaying body
To live a fuller nobler life smiling cradled
In the sweetest softest nuturing bosom of love
Full of joy and happiness that is most possible
For it is not darkness we go to but the beautiful
Company of light, peace and eternal love
For success and failure in the end is the same
And the only real democracy is death itself
Your soul father is free like a bird out of a cage
Now it soars on wings of light living for eternity
Father my lips whisper my love for you
God Bless you and may you rest in peace
