#3) Go Whitewater Rafting

The Frying Pan River, which runs from Ruedi Reservoir down to Basalt, is known for its gold medal flyfishing waters. Visit Frying Pan Anglers in Basalt, to set up a guided flyfishing trip.

Ride your bike down the Rio Grande Trail to the Woody Creek Tavern and enjoy a delicious lunch. If you do not want to ride your bicycle back up the hill to Aspen, transportation vehicles are available to transport your bicycle and your party back to town.

The Maroon Bells, in the White River National Forest, is one of the most beautiful spots on earth. If you come to Aspen in the summer be sure to take the 10 mile drive up Maroon Creek Road to visit this beautiful place. Take a hike around the lake at the base of the mountains if you desire.
